Desiree Scott highlighted her Canada Games experience, shared fond memories and showed off her soccer skills at a reception held this morning to announce three new sponsors of the 2017 Canada Summer Games.
“My fondest memories of the Canada Games are meeting people from across the country who were as passionate as I was, hanging out in the athlete village and being a part of the ceremonies. I can’t wait for Winnipeg to host in 2017 and I am excited for the athletes and the memories they’ll create and take home with them,” said Scott, an alumna of the 2005 Canada Summer Games.
