Noooo, say it ain’t so, Joe! This is our last Top 5 list of the Games. We’ve seen triumph and we’ve seen heartbreak, and we’ve also seen a province come alive each day with both locals and visitors alike. It’s been an amazing two weeks and it’s all coming to a close. Booo! But before we hug it out at the Closing Ceremony, here are the ABCs on how we can make the most of our last moments together...
A is for Alberta
Seriously, every night at Festival has been special. Each province and territory showcased a bit of their best in arts and culture and we couldn’t get enough of it. Alberta takes the last night and is doing it up right with Michael Bernard Fitzgerald and Brett Kissel. Then we’ll end our time at The Forks with a big bang of fireworks.
B is for ball sports

Volleyball, Soccer and Softball are all finishing up this weekend and there’s nothing like watching a team work together to pull in a medal. The Volleyball is at Investors Group Athletic Centre, the Soccer is at Ralph Cantafio and the Softball is at John Blumberg. Get your tickets.
C is for criterium. What is criterium???

Criterium is a bike race that consists of several laps around a closed circuit. The riders complete multiple laps, which will make for a spectacular, crowd-loving time at Red River Exhibition Park. The women go at 4:00 p.m. and the men keep it rolling at 6:00 p.m.
D is for distance

Open Water Swimming is no joke. It’s 5,000m of intensity and it’s all going down at Pan Am Pool. The men race at 9:00 a.m. and the women take over at 10:15 a.m.
E is for everything else!
