The Ralph Cantafio Soccer Complex will host both men’s and women’s soccer at the 2017 Canada Summer Games. The outdoor complex is made up of two feature fields, a clubhouse, and warm-up area and is managed by the Winnipeg Soccer Federation. The complex was built for the 1999 Pan American Games and has hosted practices for the FIFA Women’s World Cup.
This outdoor complex features two fields of artificial turf. Each field’s surface can be fully lit, which allows for play later in the day. Both fields include a designated technical area with two covered benches for teams to use. These aluminum benches are covered with plexi-glass to provide protection from the elements. Field #1 can comfortably hold up to 2,500 spectators with field #2 seating 825 spectators

The 2017 Canada Summer Games are coming to your community between the dates of July 29 - August 13 , with soccer being hosted at Ralph Cantafio Soccer Centre at 900 Waverley St. Hosted in Winnipeg, Gimli, and Kenora, ON, the Games are the largest national multi-sport event for young athletes in Canada. Bringing together over 4,000 athletes and coaches and attracting nearly 20,000 visitors, the Canada Games will bring the excitement of its 50th anniversary to our region.
