Established in 1894, Southwood Golf & Country Club moved in 2011 alongside the meandering LaSalle River. This new championship 18-hole course, designed by acclaimed architect Thomas McBroom, boasts almost 300 acres of a golfers’ dream, built to United States Golf Association standards.

Measuring 5,314 to 7,311 yards in length, Southwood caters to all levels of players by offering a choice of five tees. This links style course is ideal for the 2017 Canada Summer Games tournament. Just over 18,000 square feet on two levels, the clubhouse is home to dining, banquet and meeting areas, as well as lounge and locker room facilities. Wireless Internet service throughout the building is just one of the many conveniences for members and guests. Just minutes outside the south perimeter, Southwood is a short drive from anywhere within the city and only 30 minutes from Downtown Winnipeg.
