2017 Games Legacy

The 2017 Canada Games will serve as a catalyst for a series of major upgrades both on and off the field of play, including resurfacing the track, upgrades to the field disciplines competition areas, and a variety of other modernizations to deliver an exceptional athlete experience for years to come.

The field of play at University Stadium is sheltered from the wind by the bowl-shaped exterior, and includes a 400-metre, 8-lane track, hurdles and sprinting area, steeplechase, discus, high jump, pole vault, hammer, shot put, long and triple jump and javelin areas.
