Blair McIntosh has joined the Canada Games Council Board of Directors and brings with him over 30 years of Canadian amateur sport experience and an unwavering passion for the Canada Games Movement.
Having served as the Chef de Mission for Team Canada at the 2010 Paralympic Games and Chef de Mission for Team Ontario nine times at the Canada Games, Blair has been proven to be an incredible and successful leader and brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the Canada Games.
Blair’s work and accomplishments have made a positive impact on the amatuer sport landscape in Canada, and he’s been recognized for those achievements by being inducted into the Canada Games Hall of Honour, receiving the Discovery Award for outstanding leadership with the Province of Ontario, as well as the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal for his contribution to the Paralympic movement in Canada.
Blair’s impressive professional experience includes serving as the CEO for Sport Alliance of Ontario as well as the Director of Sport Tourism with the City of London. He currently serves as the Vice-President of Sport with Special Olympics Canada and was recently named the Chair of the Canadian Sport Tourism Alliance Board of Directors.
