Long Track Speed Skating

General Description

Long track speed skating has been a longstanding Canada Winter Games sport, having joined the program at the very first 1967 Canada Winter Games in Quebec City, QC and only missing two Winter Games since then. It has always featured men’s and women’s competition.

Canadian long track speed skaters have won 35 Olympic medals, the country’s greatest total in any winter sport.
