An accomplished and award-winning sports journalist and CBC storyteller, Teddy Katz is a recognized leader in this field and his passion for communications and Canadian sport is a welcome addition to the Canada Games Council Board of Directors.
Having been involved in more than ten Olympics, Paralympics, and most other major games Teddy brings invaluable insight and experience to the Canada Games as well as a skillset and network of connections from the media relations and communications sector across Canada.
Along with an impressive 19-year career in journalism, Teddy also served as the Chief Spokesperson and Director of Media Relations for the Toronto 2015 Pan Am/Parapan American Games. He recently founded his own communications consultancy business called Communications, Redefined. He helps organizations become thought leaders by uncovering and showcasing the stories that humanize them and that are good for business.
