This truly collaborative initiative is designed to honour and celebrate the cultures and perspectives of Indigenous peoples. It is a demonstration of the CGC's ongoing commitment to reconciliation, inclusion, and meaningful engagement as we continue to learn from and about Indigenous communities.
"Launching the Canada Games Indigenous Artists Merchandise Program is a proud juncture for the Canada Games Movement," stated CGC President & CEO Kelly-Ann Paul. "This tangible initiative is all about celebrating the unifying nature of both sport and art, while elevating the creative work of five incredible artists from all corners of our beautiful country.”
The program showcases the history, culture, and perspectives of five exceptional Indigenous Artists from across Turtle Island through officially licensed products featuring original creations by the Artists. Each item in the collection showcases work that is deeply rooted in the artists' cultural heritage, traditions, and storytelling. The Canada Games is proud to collaborate with these artists and to provide a platform for them to share their experiences and educate Canadians through art. More than just merchandise, each product is a wearable piece of cultural expression and Indigenous knowledge.

This significant initiative was made possible through a generous donation by a private Family Foundation.
The program features the work of five selected artists. These include: Tracey Anthony, whose “Creation Logo” draws inspiration from Haudenosaunee traditions and the creation story
