The 2029 Canada Games Host Society today announced the appointment of Tracy Clinch as Chief Executive Officer, effective April 1, 2026, and unveiled the composition of its Board of Directors completing the leadership structure that will guide the planning and delivery of the 2029 Canada Games in Moncton and Saint John.
With an accomplished CEO now in place and a Board drawn from across New Brunswick’s sport, business, government, and community sectors, the Host Society is fully positioned to begin the operational work required to deliver a world-class Games.

Tracy Clinch
Tracy Clinch is the founder and leader of Masitek Instruments Inc., a global technology company focused on sensor-driven solutions that reduce product damage across supply chains. She serves as Chair of the Board of the New Brunswick Museum, Chair of the Friends of the Moncton Hospital, and President of the Board of Volleyball New Brunswick. She is recognized for her strategic leadership, governance knowledge, and commitment to innovation, sport, healthcare, and cultural institutions across New Brunswick. During the course of her career, Tracy has lived and worked in both Saint John and Moncton. She will lead the day-to-day planning and execution of the 2029 Canada Games across Moncton and Saint John.

Bill MacMackin
Co-founder and Executive Chairman, Select Community Funeral Homes Inc. (Saint John-based with locations across four provinces); Past Chair, Athletics Canada & Athletics New Brunswick Board of Directors. President, Saint John Reds Track & Field Club. Head Coach - Athletics, Team New Brunswick at the 2022 Canada Games. Community leader behind the development of the Irving Oil Field House in Saint John. Recognized with provincial and national awards for service to sport and honoured with the New Brunswick Sports Hall of Fame Community Sport Award. A proven business leader and passionate athletics champion deeply committed to growing sport participation and performance from grassroots to national competition.

Marianne Limpert
Products and Services (Electric Mobility), NB Power. Olympic silver medalist (Atlanta 1996, 200m Individual Medley) and three-time Olympian. Gold medalist at the 1989 Canada Summer Games in Saskatoon. Inducted into the Canadian Olympic Hall of Fame and the New Brunswick Sports Hall of Fame. Canada's flag bearer at the 1998 Commonwealth Games. A product of the Canada Games system whose journey from young New Brunswick athlete to Olympic podium embodies the transformational power of the Games.
Nicole Smith
Teacher and principal. Chef de Mission at the 2017 Winnipeg Games and 2019 Red Deer Games. Chef de Mission for Team New Brunswick at the 2022 Niagara Canada Summer Games, 2023 PEI Canada Winter Games, and 2025 St. John’s Canada Summer Games. Brings unmatched operational knowledge of the Canada Games environment and firsthand experience leading provincial teams through every stage of preparation and competition.
Robyn Tingley
Founder and President of consulting company GlassSKY Inc. Former Vice President Communications and Human Resources, Europe, North America, LATAM, Fortune 100 NYSE Company (2008–2014). Former Chair, University of New Brunswick Board of Governors (2021–2023). Order of New Brunswick (2019). Named one of Canada’s 100 Most Powerful Women by WXN (2017). Co-founded Women for 50%. A nationally recognized governance and inclusion expert who brings strategic leadership, board experience, and a commitment to building organizations that reflect the communities they serve.
Nancy McKay
President, NE McKay & Associates. Former Deputy Minister, Government of New Brunswick. Chief Operating Officer, 2010 IAAF World Junior Championships in Moncton (1,300+ athletes, 163 countries). Vice Chair and Vice President, Administration and Technology, for the 2003 Canada Games in Bathurst and Campbellton. A seasoned executive with decades of experience across the public and private sectors and one of the most accomplished major event leaders in the province’s history.
Mary Keith
Retired Vice President, Irving Shipbuilding. Former Vice President Communications, J.D. Irving, Limited. One of Atlantic Canada’s most accomplished senior executives, she spent more than 25 years as the principal architect of external affairs for one of Canada’s largest and most complex private conglomerates spanning stakeholder engagement, community affairs, crisis management, and corporate communications across industries as diverse as forestry, shipbuilding, transportation, and consumer products. Subsequently brought that expertise to Irving Shipbuilding during a pivotal chapter in Canada’s National Shipbuilding Strategy. Brings rare breadth of executive experience and a proven ability to build trust and navigate complexity at the highest levels.

Retired Partner, McIntyre Finn (Dieppe). Member, New Brunswick Local Governance Commission. Board member, Mothers Matter Canada, Atlantic Cancer Research Institute. Melanie Deveau
Assistant Deputy Minister, Parks and Tourism / Sport and Recreation, Government of New Brunswick (Department of Tourism, Heritage and Culture). The province’s senior public servant responsible for sport and recreation, bringing critical institutional knowledge and government partnership capacity to the Host Society.
