Sage Extends Partnership with Canada Games Movement through 2030

Ottawa – The Canada Games Council (CGC) is thrilled to announce that longtime partner Sage Canada has renewed its commitment to the Canada Games Movement through 2030, as a National Supplier of the Canada Games in 2025, 2027 and 2029.

Sage is an industry leader in cloud business management solutions, including accounting, financial, human resources and payroll technology for small and medium-sized businesses around the globe.

A proud multi-Games partner since 2013, the upcoming 2023 Canada Winter Games in Prince Edward Island will mark a decade of Sage championing Canada’s next generation of athletes and recognizing the tireless volunteerism of Mission Teams through its ‘Team Behind the Team’ program.

With this partnership extension, Sage will continue to supply software, training and expertise to the CGC and Host Societies to optimize the financial management of the Canada Games. Sage Intacct is a cloud-based financial management platform that not only simplifies and automates basic accounting tasks, it also provides real-time business insights to uncover efficiencies, enabling the Canada Games to focus more time and resources to supporting its athletes.

“As a global company who champions Canadian small and mid-size businesses to

Games Council,” said Mark Hickman, Managing Director, Sage Canada. “Our

organizations share common values of leadership, entrepreneurship, and athleticism.

We are thrilled to support the Canada Games Council and its host cities through

financial and operational excellence. We want to empower and enable greatness in

champions and leaders of today and tomorrow.”

“We are delighted to continue this meaningful partnership with Sage and rely on their innovative Sage Intacct technology to deliver real-time financial insights and elevate operational performance for the Canada Games,” said CGC President and CEO Kelly-Ann Paul. “By streamlining our business operations, Sage further empowers the Council and Host Societies to spark greatness in the champions and leaders of tomorrow and transform the development of sustainable communities across Canada.”
