Atlantic Lottery Joins 2025 Canada Games as Elite Sponsor

St. John’s, NL (August 14, 2023) — The 2025 Canada Games Host Society is excited to welcome Atlantic Lottery as an elite sponsor and the exclusive presenting partner of the Volunteer Program. The partnership, announced today at Atlantic Lottery’s Newfoundland and Labrador office in St. John’s, marks another significant milestone towards delivering an unforgettable sporting event in just under two years.

“We’re thrilled to announce this winning partnership with Atlantic Lottery,” said Kim Keating and Karl Smith, 2025 Canada Games Board Co-Chairs. “Atlantic Lottery's unwavering commitment will play a vital role in elevating the overall Games experience and leave a lasting legacy of volunteerism in the community. Volunteers are the heart and soul of any event, and we couldn’t think of a better partner to deliver a successful program”.

As the exclusive presenting partner of the Volunteer Program, Atlantic Lottery’s support will be instrumental in launching the volunteer recruitment campaign in August 2024, engaging with communities from across the province to help bring the Games to life.

“We are thrilled to partner with Canada Games once again, now with an incredible opportunity to shine a national spotlight on Newfoundland and Labrador,” said Patrick Daigle, Atlantic Lottery President and CEO. “We can’t wait to connect with all of the dedicated Atlantic Canadians who we will work with as presenting sponsor of the Volunteer Program and showcase our region’s commitment to local communities with the rest of the country.”

The 2025 Canada Games is also made possible thanks to the generous support of our funding partners, the Government of Canada, the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador, and the City of St. John’s.

“The success of the 2025 Canada Games relies on the collaboration and support of our valued partners, said Karen Sherriffs, 2025 Canada Games CEO. “With just under two years to go to the Games, don’t miss the opportunity to put your brand on a national stage and celebrate Canada’s best athletes.”
