Earlier today, Athletes Jennifer Heil, Cindy Klassen and Bruny Surin, along with Builder Clare Drake and Distinguished Alumna Dr. Elizabeth Cannon were announced as the Canada Games Hall of Honour Class of 2019.

The Canada Games Council (CGC) has announced the Canada Games Activity Challenge as a Canada 150 Signature Project, supporting children and teachers in Canadian classrooms to build daily active healthy habits. The Canada Games Council has received formal notification from the Canada 150 Secretariat that its 2017 interactive activity program created to engage children aged 5-12 has been approved as one of the 41 Canada 150 Signature Projects celebrating Canada’s 150th anniversary.

The 2019 Canada Winter Games Host Society is pleased to welcome MNP as a Diamond Sponsor of the 2019 Games, a National Partner of the Canada Games and the presenting sponsor of the MNP Canada Games Torch Relay. Starting in fall 2018, the MNP Canada Games Torch Relay will travel from coast to coast as a national torch relay, culminating in the lighting of the Canada Games cauldron at the Opening Ceremony on February 15, 2019.
