The Canada Games Council (CGC) is incredibly proud of everything Team Canada accomplished at the 2026 Olympics, including the 86 athletes who previously competed at the Canada Games.
Olympic Champion, Canada Games alum, and CGC Chair Catriona Le May Doan, OC. offered her congratulations, after witnessing some of the action in Italy, in person.
“Having the chance to cheer for Team Canada, knowing all the work each athlete has done to get there, is always a privilege,” Le May Doan said. “Seeing so many Canada Games Alumni excel on Olympic ice and snow, it reinforces the vital role the Canada Games play in our sport system. Congratulations to every athlete, from coast to coast to coast, who represented our country in Milano Cortina.”
