The Canada Games Council (CGC) is thrilled to announce that Canadian Tire Corporation (CTC) has renewed its longstanding commitment as a national partner of the Canada Games for the upcoming events in 2023, 2025 and 2027.

Sue Hylland, President and CEO of the Canada Games Council (CGC), will leave her position on August 5th, 2016 to pursue other opportunities. Hylland informed the CGC Board of Directors of her decision on June 24th, 2016, advising that she had accepted a position with another organization. Hylland joined the CGC in May of 2002.

Talia Grant and Shawna Kyak have become the early media darlings of the Niagara 2022 Canada Summer Games. The Nunavut beach volleyball players are in constant demand from the press as the first competitors from the territory competing in that sport at the Games.
